Happy Easter - (a month late)

 We love Easter time! all the fun colors, getting dressed up and the warm weather approaching!what do you do to kill time before the big easter egg hunt?

 Or jump on the bed with your favorite God sister!

 Well since Hayes can't quite jump, he enjoyed playing in his stander instead. Next, load three kids in the car and off we go!N

 get your face painted, pick up as many eggs as you can,

 ride the pony & play on the playground.

 Ryder has figured out how to do the monkey bars for the first time!

Passing the time

 While Baby Hayes has spent most of 2012 in the hospital Ryder has been plenty active. He has found a new favorite past time, bowling! He loves it and could stay there all day.

 Of course we have hit the Aquarium during rainy days to visit our favorite sea creatures.

 And enjoyed a spend the night party with the Shaws. Thanks Uncle Shaw for teaching Ryder & Hunter how to play the Kincet for the first time- We may have to get one of these.

 Spring time is here and we have already hit our first festival with snow cones,

 snakes,

 & a try at tennis.

 We have been able to sneak in two or three family days in between hospital stays which makes Ryder VERY happy.

 And our amazing friends also helped out with some playdates and as soon as the warm weather hit - we hit Piedmont Park - our favorite Sunday location.

 This time the Shaw family joined us and Ryder pushed his baby brother in the swing for the first time!

 Watering the plants (or weeds) is the best afternoon time killer for any kid

and the Zoo is a must before it gets too hot. Can't wait to keep enjoying this nice weather! When do the pools open?!

NEW YEARS WEEKEND AT THE LODGE

 We spent a great New Years Weekend in the mountains with friends this year. The girls learned how to shoot several different types of guns and the kids enjoyed many mule rides and building the fire pit for our evening smores roast. What a great weekend to start off 2012! Thanks for coming everyone.

Happy 1st Birthday Hayes!

 Happy 1st Birthday Baby Hayes! Although Hayes still cannot eat food, he did love smashing his cake and licking the icing off his fingers. I love you baby and cannot believe you are one!

 Hayes' birthday fell the day before Thanksgiving this year and we all headed to the mountains. While the men fried 3 turkeys, Mima let Owen lay on her (one of 10 dogs staying at the house for the holiday!)

 Of course we spent time by the ponds fishing, playing bow and arrow and just hanging out.

 Ham enjoyed his first apple! He found it on his own and went to town. He finished the whole thing!

 After Thanksgiving it is time to get the tree. Ryder found his favorite ornament, the pink pig ornament.
